   Credit Repair Feedback: Contact your creditors and make payment arrangements. You can have them close the accounts and freeze them so that they don’t keep racking up interest while you are paying them off. You may have to talk to a manager and not the regular drone who answers the phones.

   Credit Repair Feedback: Call all the people you owe money to and make arrangements to pay them back. Even if you paid off everything tomorrow, it will take a few years for your credit report to clear up, but better to start as soon as possible.

   Credit Repair Feedback: You can do this yourself. Contact the companies you owe and pay them in full if you can, if you can’t negotiate the amount down and settle the account. Run your credit report it will tell you any account in collections. When you call the companies have them check and make sure there is only one account; sometimes there will be more and you wont know. Also get prof of the payments, sometimes it wont come of your credit report and you will need to be able to prove you have taken care of the problem. You want it to state paid in full and closed if at all possible. You do not have to deal with a collection agency. You can pay the companies direct and they have to take the payment. They are also required to notify the credit company that you have paid the account. You need to run all three credit company reports. They do not always have to complete history and you might miss something.

   Credit Repair Feedback: call the collection agencies and negotiate a payoff figure so that the debt is paid for less than they want and you get in writing that non one can ever come after you for the difference
