Answered By Sophia Caylar, Editor

You can contact the three credit bureaus and obtain an credit report from them. These three are Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. Upon your request and a small fee, they will do your credit report and send it to you.

You have to provide the following information to the credit bureau of your choice to get byour credit report done:

Full name
Current address
Previous address (if changed in the last 5 years)
Social security number
Date of birth
A copy of your valid driver's license
Billing statement or utility bill with your address clearly marked
Signature
